Board of Directors
President
Kristen Zucks
president@ad2orlando.org
Brief paragraph about yourself: Since graduating from the University of Florida in 2003 (go Gators!), I've worked at a small agency in Longwood and recently joined PUSH in downtown Orlando. As part of the account service team, I've played a key role in building and executing marketing campaigns for Orlando Harley-Davidson, Earl of Sandwich and LUMA on Park. + Expand +
Nickname: Zucks, of course.
Favorite Hobby: Photography.
Favorite Ad Campaign: Bud Light's "Real Men of Genius".
Favorite Website: Craigslist.org
Something no one knows about me: The ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) in my left knee is from a cadaver. lck!
Favorite Ad2 moment: My favorite Ad2 moment was at the "Ad2 is Hot - A Hispanic Marketing Program." As a new member of Ad2 and Programs Chair on the Board of Directors, I was thrilled that the second event the Programs Committee put together was such a success. Because of very low turnout at my first event, I was a little discouraged and didn't expect the "Ad2 is Hot" program to be so fun. This reassured me that being involved in Ad2 is truly rewarding and worthwhile.
President-Elect | Membership Chair
Will Royall
president-elect@ad2orlando.org
Brief paragraph about yourself: An entrepreneur at heart, I love developing organizations, products, and people. So far I have produced a weekly news show on Fox, produced and sold a record in stores across Florida as a local Orlando / Daytona DJ, ridden a bicycle across the state of Florida to fundraise and raise awareness for people with disabilities (860 miles) with Push America, started a non-profit geared towards the preservation of history, founded two advertising companies (one of which has been sold since), and most recently a real estate company. What's on my plate next? Further developing Ad2 of course! + Expand +
Nickname: "Will", "Where there's a Will there's a way", "Billy" (by Mom and Dad at times still), "Bill" (when someone doesn't know me and just guesses) and "DJ".
Favorite Hobby: Well... surprising to most people I tell this to, my favorite hobby is Civil War Reenacting! If you like history, camping, playing army (without the danger of being in the real army and actually getting shot) and just "getting away" from the technological world we live in today, by spending weekends in an 1860's era – Civil War Reenacting is for you!
Favorite Ad Campaign: Favorite most recent ad campaign is definitely SimponizeMe.com. (Burger King / Simpsons / 7-11) What an amazing marketing piece. Everyone wants to see himself or herself as a Simpson. Everyone is going to send it to his or her friends (viral) and their friends are going to want to see themselves as Simpsons too. Top it off with actually turning select 7-11s into Quickie-Marts and you have an amazing campaign, and partnership between all three organizations!!
Favorite Website: www.RoyallMedia.com! (*plug plug*) we released a whole new world of creativity in 2008.
Something no one knows about me: I can think of a couple things... but you'll have to call me to find out (386-747-1964), I don't give away secrets that easy.
Favorite Ad2 moment: Simply finding out about the opportunity to take charge and serve on the board!

Brief paragraph about yourself: I grew up on the mean streets of Montreal, Canada. I graduated in 2003 from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Arts and minors in Fine Art and Religious Studies.
I got into advertising because of my interest in art, filmmaking, graphic design and because advertising is the only way to work in all of those fields and still make a good living.

Favorite Ad Campaign: The "Bud-wei-ser" frogs tv spot that ran during Super Bowl XXIX is most certainly my favorite ad campaign. However, I'm also a huge fan of the early sneaker war campaigns including the 1992 Reebok "Dan & Dave" tv spots and classic Jordan commercials/posters featuring Spike Lee as "Mars Blackman"

In 2006 I graduated from Stetson University with my Bachelors of Business Administration as a double major. While in undergrad I spent two summers studying abroad at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. In 2007, I took a Commercial Account Management position with the USPS under their Headquarters Sales & Marketing division. In my current position, I’m responsible for a portfolio of 60+ commercial accounts worth roughly $35 million in annual revenue including Darden, Universal Orlando Resort, QAS and Marriott Vacation Club. I am responsible for working with these accounts on their direct marketing strategies and make certain they are using direct mail effectively and efficiently. So far it has been an amazing job and an incredible learning experience!

Favorite Hobby:Googleing my name, surfing eBay, watching New England sports, collecting sports memorabilia, fishing and investing when I have the funds.
Favorite Ad Campaign: Skittles! Ex: “Touch the Rainbow, Taste the Rainbow” – Everything Tim touches turns into Skittles. Joel thinks it's awesome, but Tim explains the downside: "Is it awesome when you can't hold your newborn baby boy in your arms? Did you feed and dress yourself this morning? I didn't. I met a man on the bus today. I shook his hand. He'll never see his family again.”

Brief paragraph about yourself: I’m a graphic designer and creative professional. I started my career at UCF Marketing, followed at Fry Hammond Barr and currently at Chernoff Newman. In that time, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the truly brilliant creative directors in this town and I’d like to think that everything I design has a little of them in it. My present 8-5 responsibilities include designing/ directing/ producing all creative for the Orlando office of CN. I’m a little obsessed with my career so I take every chance I can get to study the visual nature of life and include it in my work. + Expand +
Nickname: “Wayner” (in college). Now my boss makes it a habit to spout out “Boy Wonder” or “Wonder Boy” at me.
Favorite Hobby: Baseball and surfing.
Favorite Ad Campaign: "Got Milk", still a classic.
Favorite Website: Mine. www.wingmandesign.us.
Something no one knows about me: I often try (unsuccessfully) to impress women with my extensive knowledge of typography. Can you picture “Hey (insert name), did you know that’s Helvetica you’re staring at?”. Yeah, that’s me.
Favorite Ad2 moment: 2008 Nationals in Atlanta. 4 days of craziness, like we were in college again. I mean…because of all the informative lectures... and stuff...
Education Co-Chair
Sarah Peerani
education@ad2orlando.org
Brief paragraph about yourself: I’m currently a student at UCF( c/o 2010!), working on Advertising & Public Relations major and marketing minor. I was born & raised in Jacksonville, FL. I wasn’t aware that some people considered Jax to be a city in Georgia until I moved to Orlando in 2001. I’m the baby of three in a Colombian-Pakistani household. My siblings mean the world to me, and I’m happy to say I’m a proud aunt too! I consider myself lucky to have started college knowing what I want to pursue (with, of course, a little help)! The only professional background I have is building my resume by interning w/ various companies. I started with the City of Orlando with their Economic Development department, dabbing into some (keyword: some) of my graphic skills, but currently at Say It Loud! working with the “suit” side of things, which is where I’d like to be! + Expand +
Nickname: Throughout high school, it was Pepperoni (long story, but I don’t even like Pepperoni’s which is ironic), but lately I’ve been getting a lot of “Pocahontas”.
Favorite Hobby: Spinning is probably the only thing I try to make sure I do on a regular basis, but I’ve recently tried mountain biking and looking forward to rock climbing! I enjoy trying new things!
Favorite Ad Campaign: I’d say the mac vs. pc campaign, but I recently saw a commercial for Chili’s suggesting that businesses should dine there for meetings. They showed a group of 5 hanging out in the conference room. When they started the call, they were put on hold and started playing musical chairs! When the person picked up they all scrambled for a seat!
Favorite Website: ... I’m so addicted, it’s disgusting.
Something no one knows about me: Hmm.. well, I played lacrosse all throughout high school and the summer before my Junior year, I made the first Florida high school girls travel team to play in Maryland.
Favorite Ad2 moment: Getting invited to my first Ad2 board meeting and volunteered to be the Student Addy chair! I was glad I was getting involved so early. I like being able to show other students that it’s not so intimidating networking with professionals. They were in our shoes once and are usually more than happy to help out!
Public Service Chair
Dominique Brent
publicservice@ad2orlando.org
Brief paragraph about yourself: I realized I wanted to work in advertising and marketing when a deep-rooted interest in consumerism and communication emerged in college and wouldn’t go away. And for those who know me – No, I’m not referring to shopping and talking. This field is based on social sciences and problem solving through creativity. I like both, so I’ve found myself working in both account management and production services. I enjoy staying busy and helping my clients. + Expand +
Nickname: Dom, or by a few -“Domination”
Favorite Hobby: There is a pattern emerging - I get sort of addicted to whatever my latest interest is for about 6 weeks and pursue it heavily until I have mastered the skill at a very basic level, get bored and move on.
Favorite Ad Campaign: I think the TRUTH ads are very compelling and when they first came out, I think it was one of the first PSA messages delivered creatively. I also love Mac vs. PC ads.
Favorite Website: Sadly, I spend the most time on myspace.com – it’s addictive. I also am a big fan of youtube.com.
Something no one knows about me: I have a weakness for sour patch kids and gobstoppers. You can easily bribe me with them for favors.
Favorite Ad2 moment: Getting over 100 people to our programs for starters! Other great memories include finding out that the mentorship program, annual auction, or other events we work on each year have helped someone figure out their career path.

Brief paragraph about yourself: I love to see people laugh. That's why I got into advertising, I guess. Strategy? meh. Increasing traffic? ugh….But I realize now that it's all full circle, this industry, involving everything under the sun. Learning this and living this in the past few years, I have fallen deeper in love with advertising. There is so much that goes into a campaign that an Everyday Joe would never comprehend. But now that I'm in it, behinds the scenes in this exclusive industry, I feel like I belong here. People in the ad business just "get it" and I finally “get it” and I love that we share that bond. My history in a nutshell… I graduated UF with a degree in Advertising. I then attended Creative Circus for copywriting, moved back home for family, and here I am, second time Ad2 board member and BS extraordinaire (ah, my love of copywriting persists.) I met the most amazing people through Ad2 last year, ones that I am proud to call friends. And here I am again, represe’in this group for another awesome year. + Expand +

Sponsorship Chair
Jacqueline Duignan
sponsorship@ad2orlando.org
Brief paragraph about yourself: The common question, "So where are you from?" is one I can't answer easily. A southern girl born abroad with Georgian roots, city ties and a little island living sprinkled in between is the simplest answer.
While pursuing a B.A. in advertising and public relations at the University of Central Florida, I developed a passion for Knights Football and learning outside the classroom. Throughout my time at UCF, I managed to get six internships under my belt at some of Central Florida's most influential companies and industries. Project management, strategic partnerships, brand marketing and public relations in both corporate and agency settings are just a few of the skill sets I picked up along the way.
Now an account coordinator for Bennett & Company, I’m cultivating my experiences across several industries with emphasis on tourism and hospitality, Orlando's bread and butter, to provide clients with clear, strategic marketing solutions. + Expand +
