2006-2007 Accomplishments

Ad2 Orlando raised and donated over $3,000 to the local, non-profit organization, Speaking Out Against Rape, through the first Annual Auction in May.

Increased overall Club membership from 45 members in May 2006 to 73 members in May 2007, surpassing our goal of a 50% increase.

Hosted speakers from Darden Restaurant, PUSH, Inc., Mindcomet and Fleming's Steakhouse to provide members with diverse educational programs.

Launched the Ad2 Orlando MySpace page.

Hosted the bi-annual conference for the National Ad2 Board of Directors in Orlando, FL. The conference attracted Ad2 members from all over the country, including Honolulu, Denver, San Francisco and Oklahoma City.

Held the first annual "Resume/Portfolio Workshop" in which Central Florida advertising/creative students got one-on-one advice from experienced professionals.

Doubled participation in this year's "Mentor Program".
